Rob and Richard Belcher had a particularly jovial Saturday afternoon
and I managed to be a little more circumspect. I had had a busy week
and was looking forward to having a quiet night in with the first Mrs
Price. We settled down to watch a soppy film, which turned out to be
pretty crappy, and half way through the ‘phone went.

Pub / Restaurant, Gastropub, Surrey Dining Pub of the year, who knows what The Inn @ West End should be called as it is all of these things and more. Ann and I have been at The Inn for over six years and it seems to go from strength to strength with really good fresh food, a superb wine list, welcoming and professional atmosphere and great people to look after you.
The Inn is easy to find on the A322 two miles from junction 3 of the M3 and has a large car park and garden. It is an adult friendly come - a place to come when you have a babysitter and don't want other peoples children hurtling about in an e numbered frenzy! Having said that, children that can sit at table and enjoy a meal with their family are welcome in the restaurant, i.e. at least five years old and appreciate good food.
We are keen on fresh fish and game and have our own chilller van so we can collect fish from wherever it is freshest and best. We source much of the produce locally, have our own herb garden and grow things like runner beans and tomatoes too.

"Just two miles from J3 of the M3", an "outstanding" gastropub; it "doesn't look anything from the outside", but attracts only very positive reports, in particular for its service ("just about perfect") and its wine list ("remarkable").
