How do they do that?

This website has been built using Rubicon Software's DFinity Enterprise Software Solution (DFinity).

Many businesses, including The Inn, use digital information which has not usually been created with e-business solutions in mind. To effectively manage the transformation of these digital assets into re-usable, dynamic content requires an underlying framework that can separate design, content and functionality.

DFinity is a powerful software toolkit designed to make it very easy to serve content- and technology-rich web / intranet pages dynamically on a user-by-user, session-by-session basis. This means that businesses can create and maintain effective, real-time, 1 to 1 relationships with their customers and other businesses.

At the most basic level, this means that all the information for the site is stored in a database and delivered dynamically to the browser as each page is requested. The structure of the site and the design of the pages are completely separate from the content of those pages. This enables the owners of the site (The Inn) to effectively manage the content (Wine lists, news items, menus etc.) without having to worry about how they are all delivered to the browser.
